TomTom Navigator 7 now also on MicroSD

This news isn't very SatNav related, but it might be of interest to our readers nonetheless: TomTom has started the sales of Navigator 7 for Windows SmartPhones on MicroSD. The software with maps will soon also become available as a download.

The MicroSD with the Navigator 7 software and the maps of 22 Western-European countries is for sale on the TomTom website for £ 89,95. Other mapping material will become available soon through the TomTom Map Shop.

"We are pleased to offer NAVIGATOR 7 as a standalone product for the first time." says Corinne Vigreux, TomTom's Managing Director. "Complementing our partnerships with handset manufacturers we have decided to make NAVIGATOR 7 available to fans of TomTom who want the latest navigation software on their phone."
