You would have thought they would have at least called it V8.003 or something other than the one everyone has been using for a while, even if it is pretty good. wink.gif

Yes, I know...so you think that TT would have made it look like they had read all the reported bugs and tried to do something about them. But no, they just let everyone have the version with bugs etc. So what was the point of beta testing it is what I am getting at.... in a very unclear way.

What do you mean "Come on Boys, wake up?"

There are already two topics about it in the "Firmware" section, timed earlier than your post!

ATTENTION: Traffic Lane Assistance and IQ Routes ONLY function with GO x30!

Can't tell you how much that sucks! I have many sat navs, I buy them for my staff too. The next one I don't think will be a TT! They have got too greedy. aggressive.gif

Ahh or is that just because of the maps for now?
Edit: I see from other posts that it is! Not so clear in the report that!!

Is this V8 list still current or is Andy post on the same theme (but more detailed) the one to follow?

This is yesterdays news. No indication if the n/a stands for no further development to legacy units.

As posted in another list,
QUOTE
To use 815 maps, 8.3 was introduced. For older models where the 8.x series failed, 7.9 was introduced.

Albeit in Krautzenheimer, here is an easily understood list of Models and dates of their NavCore versions, made by The Tremor.

815 maps with 8.3 is needed to get IQ2 to work. 8.010 handles maps with IQ Routes.
I would suggest you check first what is offered to you via HOME and then call Support for clarification.
